what cab for ashdown 12-180 EVO II?

Sign in to disble this ad
HI there

I looking to pick up an ashdown EVOII combo for practice and small gigs, more likely the smaller 12" model than the 15" and wondered what cab I'd be best pairing it with for the little extra oomph when needed

Ideally I'd like to go with a 1x15", but I'm starting to get confused about ohms!

The 12-180 EVO II says "Speaker Output: Minimum impedance 4 Ohms" does that mean its OK with 8 Ohm cabs? The Ashdown MAG 115 and ABM 115 cabs seem to be 8 ohms

thanks

It's not clear in the manual but from what I remember I don't think you can add a second cabinet to the blue line of combos.

You should ask Ashdown directly.
