With all the different cabs setups and sizes what are you guys running. I know alot mix cabs of different sizes, but to keep the poll simple I won't post mixed rigs, just the popular speakers setups. I know there are more options but hit the poll...
Sorry if I missed a few of the popular ones. I knew I would. There are so many cabs and combos being run.

In any case, I use a 6x10. I like having something close to my ear level so I can hear myself properly. Plus it`s small enough to fit in most cars. |

I set it up on a 12" high milk crate which gets the tweeter (coaxial in middle 10" driver) closer to ear level and cuts down on stage boom.
It's a killer cab, but pretty heavy.
I love the sound so much that I don't care about the weight.
The cartage is a labor of love.
I do lust after a fEarful 1212/6/1 though.

If I am playing really small rooms, I will switch to a 2x10 and a 15....but those occasions are few and far between these days.

| | | | Right now I currently have a Crate Thunderbass cab with 2X15's in it with a Crate Thunderbass 440 head but in the next month or so I will be ordering a Mesa Boogie 4X10 Powerhouse with a Mesa Boogie M9 Carbine head.

I usually run my 410 on stage, but am seeing if I can downsize. I figure 2 210's will be easier to move around and that will give full power rating on the amp I am getting soon. Plus if I only need one cab, I have that option also. How is a twin vert stack of 210 goodness different than a 410 cab though? I would think it's the same result, right?

| | | | I use 2x10 and 1x15 to take the bass load of an SM400.
Smaller gigs, 2xGS1x12.
I'll be adding a ThunderfunkTF soon enough with might allow me to get rid of the 1x15.
I can never use them on their own anyway and it is too big ..and heavy..for the car.
If fits in but It'll ruin the interrior before too long.
My goal is to run 2x2x10 for the louder rig. |

| | | | "What cab configuration do you run?" Couldn't vote 'cause I use several configurations, depending band and venue. I seldom require the 2x15 cab (TL606D). The 1x12 (TL806) over 1x15 (TL606) suffice for most larger and louder gigs, and is an easier setup to haul. For one quiet cover band, all I need is the 1x12! The most commonly used cab in the last decade for me has been the 2x12 (TL806D). All have Neo drivers... |
