Getting a new db751 this week

Pairing it with both a berg hs410 and a new cab this week berg hs210 on top. 2.6ohms and over 800 watts! Hs610! Can't wait. Had a db750. Looking forward to trying the751

That is going to be one hell of a stack!

I still need to hook up both of my berg cabs (ht322 and ht1x12er) through the DB750. The 2ohm capability really opens up the options!

Yeah. Can't wait. This will be the most powerful rig I have played through I'm sure.

I played the db750 for years through an ae410, nv610, and an hs410 the longest. I prefer the hs410. Can be made to sound like and nv610 with tweeter off, turn up tweeter and get some modern sizzle.

Getting that hs210 to put on top of the hs 410. I think it will be great to have the punchier 210 on top to hear myself better. I think it will look so cool to boot! Really curious how this rig is going to sound.

This rig cost me some serious coin. If I was on a budget I think the best Craig's list deal out there for the db750/1 is a newer plywood ampeg svt 810e. I see these go for $500 600 bucksish. I played a gig where I used a 810e back line with my db750 and it just sounded great live for a rock/funk gig of moderate venue size. I paid this for my used little hs210!!! However be ready to move and store that 810! That's why people sell them mostly. But storing in the garage and having skid rails and the right car to tote they wouldn't be a big deal.

There's only one right answer: DB412 in White Hot.

You're already hauling around a boat anchor; you need the matching boat.

So what would you guys pair with a DB751?

Thanks!
You mentioned a DB 410. You might consider 2 DB 210's instead. You could stack them vertically - sounds better than one wide and deep 410 cab that's awkward to move. I learned that vertical stack tip here on TB. That's what I did with my 2 GS 210's and it sounded better than stacking the cabs as if they were a 410 (and for the record, the GS 210's are not mid-scooped - I'm tired of reading that here on TB). Don't know what your "tone goals" are, as it's termed here on TB but another cab could be one of the 412 cabs from Aguilar. Aguilar makes great cabinets. I built my rig with the cab first. I was looking for a single large cabinet and so I took a different turn away from the usual gear. This was a risk.

I tried the DB 751 with my fEARful 1515/66 in a local store. It was a perfect match of power and tone. It was a tremendous leap of faith on my part to custom order my cab from a builder because I did not hear a fEARful before ordering the build nor had I dealt with that builder before. The well engineered genius of the Aguilar DB 751 is equal to that of Green Boy's cabinets. And it's true that fEARful cabs can give you a variety of tones. This is how it looked as I tested the rig.

I'd say TKS D212 if you live in Europe (Tommy Södergren - Mr. TKS - is a ridiculously gifted cab-designer from Sweden with reasonable prices). Otherwise you could consider doing like Gary Willis and get 3x Aguilar 112 - it's flexible and you can get a more defined sound from 1x12 cabs than from 2x12. I feel much more in charge of my tone with 2x1x12 than with 2x12. But whatever you do, find out 1) what speaker-size you prefer, 2) if you prefer sealed or ported and 3) how much weight you are willing to move around.
