What to do with this amp?

I have a Sovtek Bassov Bluesboy 100 Watt head. I like it. Makes my Marcus Miller Jazz sound refreshing through my ampeg 8x10. My problem is, 1. I'm not gigging at all right now. 2. I drive a Jetta. Though I love the economical value of my car, I think its going to to force me to part ways with that cab. (but I digress)

I've been drawn to the Aguilar brand through word of mouth and this forum. I'm tempted to sell both the head / cab (puttin on CL as we speak) and downgrade to maybe a Tonehammer500 / 212. Whats everyone thoughts??

Don't think the tone of that would be nearly comparable to the Sovtek/'peg rig. If reckon you probably don't need the volume from the big cab, so get a smaller one, maybe a lightweight, and stick with the head.

+1 keep what you've got, 'cause you never know, and get a smaller cab to play with.

mate those sovteks are a monster. keep it and buy a smaller cab.
