What to do? Do I put my new Markbass LM III into my older cmd102p??

So I just picked up a lightly used LM III, and want to know what you guys think about me putting it in my beloved cmd102p which I bought about 3.5 years ago. I bought the head as my travel head, for when we play long distance shows and I can use the hometown band's cab. I know the cmd102P's head says Combo Head on it.

What do you guys think?

It's the same head isn't it only a LMII ? Why change ? They sound exactly the same .

Yeah, they sound exactly the same....apparently the clip unit is updated as well as having a separate volume for the DI. You see, I play in a punk band, so I may prefer to have the older head as my "travel" head.
