What to do with a Fender Princeton Chorus?

I inherited a solid state Princeton Chorus 2x10) a long time ago. It's just sitting in the shed. It works, has a chorus control knob broken off. Not really worth anything.

Give it away or sell it for ten bucks on craigslist. My brother and his friend Curt used to play through those in a band we had in the 80s. They can do the horrible chorusy soulless no-balls 80s guitar tone really well. That amp sound like deep fried a$$ IMO.

Do you have the pedal that goes with it? I think I have one somewhere.

I have one too, and it sounds great! I have seen them going for about $150 on ebay.

I used to have a silverface Princeton. It was the shiz. Anyhoo, is sounds like this thing is a not-as-good version of the Roland JC. If you can, give it too a kid that could use an amp upgrade.

I've got one too. It was actually my "amp" as a guitar player. I actually just fired it up the other day, and while the gain channel leaves something to be desired, it's not particularly offensive on the clean side.

I put a bunch of my old stuff I don't use on CL recently. One item was a Peavey stereo chorus 212 SS guitar amp. Sounded good but heavy and since guitar players love tubes I didn't think it would sell.

It sold same day. A dobro player showed up and paid what I asked ($150 I think) and told me how hard it was to find and it was a JC copy and was the best he had found for what he did. He was a dam fine dobro player, I might add. I should have asked more.

Anyway, put an add up. You never know.

I'll probably come out better by parting it out.
