Just got a alumabass 210 cab for free, copper colored aluminum cones, Wow! This thing sounds great! Playing it through a Peavey mark VIII series head with a Madison 410 cab. Maybe its just me but wow! I think I finally got the sound I"ve been looking for, deep solid lows, crisp punchy mids, and I didn't think I'd be saying this but highs that just sound awsome. All my bass's sound sooo much better, shoot even wanna play with a pick now! lol.
What happened to these things? Or am I just hearing aluminum cones for the 1st time with my stuff and being dumb? I just can't get over the sound, can stop playing! Anyone know where I can find more of these lil gems?
