What head to go for??

Hi guys,
I'm looking to change my rig a bit. The bands direction is going quite dub / trip hop esque so I'm looking for an amp head and cabs that can give me a good low end with a bit of punch, that will sound good on slow drawn out songs and more upbeat groove based dance tracks.
I've been thinking about using a 410 and a 115 cab rig if that helps.

Forget the 410/115. Go either 2 115s, 2 410s, or an 810. The 410 will completely smother the 115 and you will probably sound muddy.

As for a head that will go low and has alot of punch GK 700rb or 1001rb

i personally think a 410 and 115 sound perfect together

Try an Orange Bass Terror 500 or 1000 head.

cheers guys. I'd been looking at the 1001rbii and terror bass. Cheers on the cab suggestions. I live on a small island so don't get much chance to try new gear out. It's pretty much buy it and hope it's right haha.

I run a Line6 Lowdown 750 and 2-410 cabs. Since it does the modeling thing, I can get just about any sound I want and sounds good too. Just saying.

If you're looking for good low end with punch, and you can handle the "refrigerator form factor," you might want to consider the SWR Megoliath.
