What makes a good cab?

Well?

What would be a good all purpose cab?

I've got my eye on the Gallien Krueger 400RB head. What cabs would go nicely with this?

I'm playing a Fender Jazz bass.

Thanks

That question is so open ended,. Read up on it, try the FAQ's for starters. Too many variables, and then personal preference to boot.

A good cab sounds nice, and gets loud enough for your needs.

This has been another episode of "vague answers to vague questions."

A good cab is better than a bad cab.

gotta sound smooth with a fair bit of mid so you plant the bass and treble where you want it. takes a fair bit of power too. im not too bothered about weight but its gotta be able to stand up to glasgows public transport system and weather

casters are always fun too. specially sitting on the cab going down montrose street. once raced my guitar players cab down that hill
