What makes the sound get brighter..

.. along with amp warm up?

This is no new issue, but i couldn't find any answer by searching the forum, so I took my shot against moderation and asked it myself, heheh!

I've observed this with all amps I've had the chance to gig, as well as my actual Ashdown MAG 300 setup. From the moment one starts playing from cold , at moderate/elevated volume levels, the sound keeps getting brighter and brighter as something warms, I guess, but i don't know if its the head circuitry or the speakers themselves.

In the Ashdown's case, this is quite noticeable. Although not relevant enough to make it an issue, it still pisses me off me a bit, since I have to keep making minor adjustments.

This one time, though, I've played an relatively high-end Aguilar, and that didn't happen.

Am i pushing the preamp to hard? Or playing to loud? Or is it not avoidable at all?

Thanks!
