IDK the answer to your question, sorry.
Can you post a pic of the Line 6 "head" you extracted?

The hole that goes from the cab to the head is the perfect size for a 1/4" jack, so I sawed off the lip and installed a jack. And I built an ugly wood frame for the "head." Unfortunately I have no camera.

I'm such a McGyver..lol

for pics of the amp itself.
it coming from the world of modeling amps it will most likely be a specially designed speaker just for the line 6 combo, possibly dual concentric too (tweeter in the middle) Roland do the bass cubes, very similar idea, i have a cube that has a really annoying vibration when cranked a lil, ive tried removing the amp from the combo and the rattle goes away, thinking about building an amp box for it as i can't trace the nasty vibration, the 12" speaker in the cube's box sounds really good for a 100 watt combo (apart from the rattle)
i assume you've removed the line 6 amp so you dont need to buy another cab for use with your GK?? bass on a budget eh!, can understand that 1, whatever works

Eno | I don't believe that for a second. It's a budget 110 combo.

Respect to Line 6...it is a very good little combo, but digital emulation just doesn't work for me, not without serious firepower, more serious than a practice amp would have. I like a basic amp that sounds good and I'll add effects as needed. Not that I need them on this gig:
BA108 in action...25w of raw Ampeg power.

the little GK came just in the right spot for me. its sound clean and natural for me.
i also have mark bass little mark2 and fitzmaurice omni 10 cab that sound great together . but this setup stilll can be too much loud at some places and to much heavy to carry..
the MB200 sounds great with the omni 10 so i have some options to choose. depend on the gig setup and venue. |
