what a week...grail find for me

Sign in to disble this ad
so last week I was browsing the local classifieds and I found a mid 70's Acoustic 470 head at a scream off a price.(100 bucks...) so Having been looking for an acoustic at a decent price I had to scoop it up.. then two days later a chap posted a mid 70's acoustic 301 cabinet for another stupid price.(100 bucks) so now I have a sweet mid 70 Acoustic set up ( pics coming soon) for a whopping 200 bucks. I was really happy the the fella selling the cab wasn't charging by the pound.

probly way more than I would gig at a bar thets what the trace eliot combo is for but outdoor shows bigger venues all sweet sweet acoustic .

just had to tell somebody that would get why I am so happy...

cya

That's the 2nd visit from the Acoustic fairies lately. It makes me curious as to what they can do.

nice grab there...

I saw a local sale of a Acoustic 420, I think its a 2x15 cab, for pretty cheap. Not sure how well that cab would perform compared to my GB/Epi/TB153 and other modern day cabs.

But I'm sorta looking for a old school cab to run my GB STM-900 thru to see what it'll sound like. Are those old school cabs up to the task y'all reckon?

I need to frequent the Windsor classifieds more often. I would have taken the day to drive down your way for that kind of deal.

Sweet.
Good deals are everywhere now, if you have the cash.
