| caps or maybe a connection has broken loose somewhere in the box. I had the same problem with my acoustic collaboration series B-3 head, well maybe not the SAME but a similar one. I checked EVERY component on the amp, to make sure that all the solder joints were fine and that wires weren't getting in the way and there weren't any shorts in any circuits. Turns out there weren't any shorts but I found some pants there (get it?). Anyway, I ended up just giving all the jacks and plugs and such on the front and back panel (as in speaker outs/instrument ins and such) a good rubbing with some rubbing alcohol and a q-tip. It might just be a bit dirty. Having a look at it probably won't do anything bad as long as it's off when you look at it. Though taking it to a tech would definitely be easier, that sort of thing costs money that you may not want to spend, and if you're anything like me you might just want to try your hand at it anyway.
