I was an old 15" guy and only liked the 10" sort of. The 12" G-K NEOs still gives the low end I like from the 15"ers but a smoother mid and highs I also like to have. I may still pickup one of the combos, the NEO212 II is easy to move with side handles and 50lbs but bringing in the Fusion 550 to a coffee house is just over-kill?

I love my MB200 with any cab and yes perfect for practice or coffee house.
I like tens ... but it seems like they all use the eminence bp102 type speaker ... which delivers bass
but not much mid.

They each have half the weight and bulk of your 410 and you can leave one at home if you don't need to be really loud. | That is a logical idea. The thing that got me on this was somebody offering me money for my set up. If I sell I'll have about $750 to blow on a new rig. If I had the resources right now I'd probably look for 1x15 and 2x10 cabs and an amp that wil drive both but I think that is going pretty far out of my price range. |

Not as many new. Start hitting craigslist, GC, and here. I usually see genz benz and GK heads on here for good prices. cabinets will be easier to pickup locally.

You can add another cab when you get some more funds for another $250.
That's the exact rig I'm rocking right now, and I love it. I only have one cabinet at the moment, but even with the single cabinet I can still hang with two loud guitars without pushing it too hard. I'm adding a second cabinet at the end of the month, and its gonna be awesome.
EDIT: Just looked up the prices and the 3500 is only $400, so you could put that rig together with one cabinet for $650.

If you love your amp but it doesn't fit in your car properly, only solution, get a new car!
I would suggest a wagon, I can fit my Ampeg 8x10 in mine no worries.
Or you could invest in a van with like a wheelchair hydrolic lift. Then just wheel your amp on, push a button, done, loaded, and you get to keep your awesome rig!!

If you find a lightweight head you can go look at all kinds of different cabs ... unless you really like combo's. |
