What's the loudest combo you can easily carry in one hand? Thinking sub 40lbs. Sub 35lbs would be awesome. What's out there?

My MB CMD151P is right around the 40 lb. mark. I can one hand it.

I can also one hand my Schroeder 15L with the other hand, making it painless to get a full 2X15 500-watt combo through the door and onto the stage in one easy trip without even coming close to breaking a sweat.

Mesa Walkabout Scout. Dunno about actual dB's, but that Scout cab seems to fill a room very well.

Genz-Benz Shuttle 6.0 docked on a 12T speaker. 36 pounds, 375 peak watts. VERY capable of making loudness!!

And you can add a 32-pound Genz-Benz 2x10 cab for the other hand, drop impedence to 4 ohms, and have 600 peak watts!

GK MB212

500 watts, 38 lbs.

I can easily carry my GB Shuttle 6.0-12t combo, but its only 375 watts, albeit a little lighter.

Markbass CMD102P about 44 lbs.

The Scout combo is 54 lbs. and I didn't like walking too far with it.

Maybe I'm weak but I had to use both hands to carry my scout. Tho I had my bass in a rockbag behind my back, stairs were a bit tough.
My markbass cmd 121p however is an ease with just one hand that I can carry my bass on my back and my wifes viola on the other hand!

But the Mesa scout had a sound the markbass cannot emulate. I do miss it but not the weight

Yep, the WA is certainly no 'lightweight' , & as the actual amp is only 13lbs, the driver is neo, they must've done a superb job of bracing etc on that cab!

For which I commend them for, as it's a great cab (& amp).

But, yes, it certainly cannot compare to some of THE lightweight cabs/combo's, such as Mark Bass. Again, imo, it more than makes up for it with its tone tho

Yup. The tone is heavy, but so is the combo, for a single 12.

I'm thinking the TC Electronic RH750 loaded into their Combo 2x10 cabinet may qualify. That's a bunch of power in a small suitcase sized combo. t's in that 50-55lb ball park with wheels.

I think the question SHOULD be, how much power can the drivers in 'said' combo actually handle?

Ime, a single 12" speaker can only take about 150w. So, the OTHER question could be How strong are u?
The GK 212 combo would obviously be the choice, as it's got the most amount of cone area to push air.
I mean, if someone makes a lightweight 410......... Can u lift it with one arm?
The point seems to be, lightweight vs the amount of power the drivers IN that combo, a their ability to perform in the cab they're in.
I can't conceivably think that many bassists are gonna be able to carry more than-eg. something like the GK neo 212, especially in one arm.
Of course, YMMV
