What's the loudest, gnarliest, most aggressive 2X15 cab currently available?

I'm curious what the meanest 2X15 cab currently being made is?
Anyone know of some cabs that fit the bill?

P.S. Tweeterless is best!

Not until you insulate the box and stick a 3015 speaker in it. (I have one)

A 151566 fEarful is what you are looking for.

About 20 years ago I took a Peavey 2X15 cab, added some insulation bats, loaded it up with two Carvin drivers, and ran an Ampeg SVT that had the 12DW7's modded to 12AX7's. Even with three guitar players in the band, and the drummer playing original Ludwig VistaLights, I had to turn DOWN.

a fearful 151566 would certainly be capable of being loud (and maybe the loudest 2x15 you could get), but it would take more power to do it (but handle it easily) than the barefaced cab, so it depends on what you mean by 'loudest'. loudest with the least amount of power? or loudest that a 2x15 could be.

BTW, i wouldn't really call a 151566 an agressive cab, but more of an even blanced one.

one of the loudest and most efficient bass 2x15 bass cabs that i ever played thru was a JBL 4520 like this one:

Isn't loud gnarl aggression going to come more from the bass and amp than the cab?

An older (2xTL606) Boogie Diesel 2x15 with EV-L's will be loud and gnarly, especially when run with an 800RB with the boost cranked. I also ran my Boogie with an SVT Classic and it was huge.

The fearFul design will go mighty low, and loud, but "gnarly" is not what I'd expect from it.

Saying something like "loudest most aggressive 2x15" begins by barking up the wrong tree. Figure out what your tone goals are and then get the right cab for the job, whatever the speaker configuration.

Mine is loudest, most aggressive 2x15 and you can't have it.

Well...everything has a price.

I love 15s - and one of the things I like about a 215 is there is no crossover and etc to worry about overheating and failing - and no side-by-side mid drivers.

That is what I use.
It ended the "volume wars" in my band.
Do you like the port block?
I leave mine off.
