What's up with Epifani lately?

I have been waiting over 2 months for (2) UL-210 cabs. I'm just wondering, is there something in the works for a new line? Is that the reason for the backlog?

Anyone on the inside are welcome to comment.

BTW: I LOVE EPIFANI CABS...just a little anxious to get my new setup.

You're in the same state. Take a drive over and ask. You're 1 hour 15 minutes from there.

ok, then call them directly.

I really don't think there'd be any harm...you're giving THEM business, and no offense, they're not THAT big that they couldn't bother.

On a serious note, did you order direct, or through a dealer? Are you 100% positive your dealer placed the actual order? Can't tell youhow many times I've seen a dealer sit on their hands about these types of things...

Hover,

Thank you for your input and suggestions. Actually I called a few different dealers, and was told the same thing. Each one had no idea what the delay was, but I thought if I started a harmless thread, that someone with ACTUAL INFORMATION might shed some light on the situation.

sorry to have bothered your harmless thread. man, if that wasn't the biggest f-you I've read yet...

All I was saying was call them directly. What makes you think anyone short of an Epifani rep, here, would have the "inside scoop"?

I hope you get a quick resolve in the matter and enjoy your cabs!

Hey now,

Take it down a notch...I meant no disrespect. I was merely asking for others to chime in with their experience, and maybe get some perspective on what others are thinking.

I do appreciate your input on my situation. Sorry if it came off harsh.

I cant answer your question directly, but I can tell you that I went through this problem with Musicians Friend. I waited 8 months for my UL-410 to arrive. Even then, they only had 2 on order and mine was one of them. They had no 210s or 310 either. I eventually gave up, got my money back and went to a different manufacturer.

MF didnt seem to have a clue as to what was taking them so long. They are produced offshore in China, so if anything, I was expecting production to move quicker.

Good luck to you.

Calm down man. All of his suggestions are actually excellent ideas for figuring out what's going on with your order. It sounds like you're hoping to hear some kind of 'insider' information, but generally, the reason people run behind is the simply underestimate the amount of time it takes to get things done and fill orders. Contacting the vendor and/or your dealer are great ways to try and figure out what's going on; if you're not willing to do either of those things, pretty much all you can do is wait.
