Whats this worth? (Laney)

Someone offered me a Laney 300 RBW amp in trade. The amp is in new condition and was used twice. I've never played through or seen one of these for sale.

What can you tell me about it? Whats this amp worth? Google doesn't seem to be much help on this one.

I'm trying to get a cheap combo to carry around town.

If you search Google for Laney RBW300, you get more hits.

Thanks. It might be my internet but I tried googling it and kept turning up dead links from 4 years ago.

I've had this amp since I was 16 (I'm 24) now. It's a nice little versatile amp with gain, volume, compression (with limited functionality), parametric eq, active and passive inputs, d.i., horn. It tilts back for use as a monitor as well. Feature wise, it's all there. I've never had this amp crap out on me. I've moved it so many times, pushed it to the limit, stood on it, played it in my front yard, ran the craziest effects through it, you name it.

It's only 165 watts though. This works for jamming with friends and what not but I've always wanted more power. Usually I've got it pushed to the limit when jamming with an entire band.

All things considered it's served me well for 8 years. I've heard better, but I've heard a lot worse. Take it for what it is.

I used it to record some songs on my bands debut album. You can hear the songs at any of our band pages. www.reverbnation.com/airstreamsafari

It was mic'd directly on "The Handshake" and "Walk Away"

I know it's been a few months but I hope you can still find this useful.
