GK 700 RB into a David Eden D210XLT Cab.

This http://bass-guitars.musiciansfriend....ead?sku=482587 into this http://bass-guitars.musiciansfriend....ter?sku=606105

Basically, I bought this stuff years ago without really knowing what I was doing, and now I want to know if I screwed anything up.

The biggest thing wrong with this setup is that it's not sitting at my house

4 or 8 ohm cab?.
You'll want another cab added for louder band work

It's 4 ohms.

I was wondering if I would need another cab, and especially if I am taking a big risk plugging a 700 watt amp into a 350 watt cab.

Also, I think that there are some obvious mismatches in the guitar world, like pairing greenbacks with a vox, or blues with a JCM800. I was wondering if these speakers are voiced a certian way that they would not match this amp well, or if I am sort of boxed into playing certain types of musical genres with this rig.

That's not a 700-watt head. It's 480 wts @ 4 ohms.

not really a problem, but you will only get so loud with just a 210. That may or may not be an issue for you.

A 4 ohm 2x10? That's kinda weird. The only thing "wrong" with the setup is that since the cab is 4 ohms, that may limit what you can add to expand the rig.

if you keep the volume down enough, you'll be fine. is this intended to be a gigging rig? if so, i might consider selling the 4 ohm 210 and getting two 8 ohm 210's instead.

Absolutely +1000. Then stack'em vertically.

+1
If you need more sound, you can't add another cab to your rig because you already have a 4 Ohm cab, and G-Ks are rated at 4 Ohms minimum.
