Nice, more GAS inducing photos! I've been wanting to try a 2-15 cab set up with my DB751.

For medium sized gigs, I use a cab that has six of these drivers in it (I used to have one with eight drivers, but I found that it was overkill and the sixer is an easier schlep).

Earplugs and booze. I had take this weekend off 'cuz the wife JUST ABSOLUTELY MUST go see the Def Leppard/Poison/Lita Ford show in StL. I64 ramps are all FUBARed as well, so add some aspirin (for the traffic headach) to that mix as well.

Acoustic quartet with drums- SSD 4-string into Genz Benz ShuttleMax 9.2 then to Eden D-112XLT.

Tomorrow night originals band, reggae-heavy, same basic rig with a fEARful 15/6 instead of the Eden 112.

Mesa M9 thru a Bergantino AE210.... Maybe 2 AE210's, but it is a small patio gig.

I almost always play my Modulus basses lately, but I am going to pull out the 1974 P and 1973 J for this gig.

My Jule Monique Pre is still on a FedEx truck and will hopefully be here in time for next weekend's gig!

NICE FRICKING RIG!!!!!!!
Thanks!

I've been around the block on some of the components - trying to balance cost versus unconstrained performance [example - went iTech for the power amp for the ability to deal with dodgy voltage / high temp environments and always provide a country mile of headroom even though its a lot more watts than needed - pulled the Avalon 737 out because it a very expensive unit and while its does have a world class EQ the job can get done quite adequately with a much cheaper ART PCII = the Avalon should stay in the studio - YMMV]. The heart of my rig is a bass that says "take me" and the Greenboy cabs = don't leave home without em.

my $0.02
