Bass into Countryman DI into a Behringher mixer (the new ones with the klark teknik EQs and 1 knob compression), which the singer goes into, and the electric piano goes through as well. Feeds a pair of 3 way 1 X 12 speakers of my design, powered by a pair carver power amps. Drummer does not get mic'ed. That's the whole band.

I initially set it up through my WTDI, but it was way too hot for the board, even with the gain and master quite low on the WTDI and the input gain low on the board. So I switched back to my trusty old J48, and everything went fine. I didn't feel like lugging my little WTX-500/AE210 rig tonight. It was a lot of fun playing the little VB5 tonight. I didn't want to take a Fodera to a bar gig in OB this time.
The stage is 6½ by 9 feet - all four of us were on it.

| | | | My ears. Went to hear/audition a band that wants me, I might have wanted the guitar player, might have wanted the drummer. Left knowing none of those combinations will be happening.
Beside the fact that the drummer sped up in different parts of the tunes..... |
