Amps are designed in USA and made in Taiwan. |

First off, they build pro-level gear; no lower-tier crap from this company. Second, their customer service is top-notch as compared to ANY type of company, music gear or not. You can easily get a real person on the phone quickly, sometimes even the company owner. Additionally, one of their engineers AND their sales/marketing manager post right here on TB. Almost daily. I've been nothing but super impressed with GB and I'm the biggest cynic I know.
Example? Sure. Bought a second hand Shuttle 6.0 here on TB, still within the original warranty period. Emailed GB and asked if I could get the warranty transferred under my name. Got an "It's done, Mike" email back from them in 24 hours. A few months later, I needed a rackmount kit for it, but couldn't find any online. Called GB, they transferred me to "Parts" I think. Jeff Genzler answered the phone! Nicest, most normal guy...I really was surprised by the time he took to talk to me. I manage a busy IT team of 12 people and the budget; I don't have time to eat lunch most days. I can only imagine Jeff! He took my order himself. Got my kit soon thereafter. I'm a GB customer for life.

Everything is designed in Arizona. | We just started stocking these @ the store. I'm looking at the Shuttle 6.0 and the Uber212 myself.
With 90% of the amps being made overseas nowadays, the true factor is how well the QC process is. There are several companys that do this well (Genz, Lakland, Ibanez to name a few), and unfortunatly there are some that do not (you know who they are).

Hey nothing wrong with that. I mean everyone is looking to make money at a level they feel they should make it. But..... Do you feel that the ones who are in the US and have there products made in the US are somewhat different. I mean look at Aguilar and Thunderfunk. The parts are not cheap. Until recently Aguilar is stepping into the light stuff. Neo cabinets and Light amps. Wonder if he will have those made oversea's. But the DB750 is massive and hard to believe something light can compare. Also thunderfunk. Not super heavy yet not digital weight either. but has great parts and not having tubes either which brings the weight down a little. But what do you think? Do you feel the amps being made overseas are of the same quality? All the light amp users if you had a roadie would you use the DB750 instead? The Thunderfunk 750A? I heard the lighter amps and I know sound is subjective but would you play a digital amp over the Massive Heads. Even include the Power amps like the crest CA6 and CA9's with a separate Pre.
I have a/b'd some of the lighter ones over some of the heavy Power/Pre combinationsand the heavier all in one heads and i do hear a difference. Maybe you like the lighter better i don't know, but just asking.

Put them both in a rack and you might have 20 pounds altogether.
Sweet!
Not hauling that heavy stuff around anymore. Never had anyone come up and say "Man that big old heavy tube amp sure sounds good. Sure glad you hauled it here to play through it!"
