Are white tolex amps just for girls?
 

I bought a white finish amp but I'm not sure if I should recover it in Black for fear of embarrassment or if it's considered cool.

I think a white amp is all kinds of cool. Not that I could own one. In my possession that thing would be scratched up and beer stained before you could even say the word white...

That's a good looking amp, I would have no reservatinos at all taking that thing on stage...and I'm not a girl...

you might want to put something more than just white paint on a stripped MDF cabinet..

i'd put some white DuraTex on it, and paint the interior of the ports black and get some good cabinet corners for it.. in contrasting black..

you might want to put the caster mounts back in also..

I bought one of these in December because the price was right. It was less than a year old. I use it for my duo gig and I run vocals, acoustic guitar and my Sadowsky through it. The bass sounds beautiful, deep amd warm through it.

I'm not crazy about the colour at all. It's an amp. It sounds good. It's light and portable.

I didn't know that Ibanez amps were made in Finland. They have a lot of snow, maybe that's why they went with the white theme.

BTW, a white amp will attract girls. Be prepared.

White amps will eventually look dirty and they can be distracting to the audience on your stage.

Don't see anything wrong with a white amp. One of my old band mates had his fender bassman wrapped in purple tolex. If you like it, rock it.
