Who here has had an amp stolen? How about a new show? Bait Cab

Was just wondering how many people here have had gear stolen. Especially amps. I have had a head and cab stolen from me. Awhile ago I saw that show on TruTV called "Bait Car" and I was thinking why couldn't they have a show called "Bait Cab" or something and look into the theft of musicians gear from clubs. I have heard a lot of stories about whole trailers full of gear stolen from outside clubs or motels. I would assume some disappears while resting near club back doors before load-out, in fact I have heard of it. They could put some transponders or something in the amps and cabs and then go pick em up. It seems there must be many thousands of dollars of musicians gear stolen every year in the US, and some of it would be nearly irreplaceable, unlike most cars. Has anyone here had stuff ripped off?

You should've reversed the cab image on the shades!

I believe it is possible to have LoJack installed in a bass cab.

Not me, but a buddy of mine had his car jacked from the "lot" behind a gig he played. He had some equipment in the trunk and backseat. After we heard that, we never stuck around for beers after shows. Load the stuff up, head home.
