Who makes a 610 with Eminence BP102s?

Is LDS my only hope?

I realized that I really really like the sound of BP102s. I currently play a vented 210 loaded with BP102s without a tweeter or a horn or anything and I absolutely love the sound. It's deep, sits well below everyone else's amp sonically, doesn't get muddy at the volume that I play it at, and so it's everything I like--it sounds great with my reggae group.

So I am just shopping around, I am looking for a 610 and I would love to have my BP102s in it...are there any other bass cab manufacturers who already make one?

I think you'd be better off doing a 4x10 @ 4 ohms (using the 4 ohm models) in a 4x10 box the size of a 6x10 or 8x10 box. You'll get some incredible lows.

Building it yourself would be pretty easy since there's no xover involved or anything.

Build a vertical 410, put a handle on top and kick-back wheels on the bottom. Easy load-in/out and the BP102's will kick ass. You could also build two 8 ohm 210's (with 4 ohm drivers) and stack them vertically if that's an easier load-in/out.

They don't do a lot above 500Hz without extra EQ'ing but you're already aware of what they can do. Building it as a vertical 410 (a single vertical row of tens) will allow for better even dispersal of the mids because of excellent off-axis response. Resist the temptation to align them diagonally. You can thank me for it later.

I've built two 210/6 cabs with BP102's and they were damn fine cabs. I had an active crossover with separate jacks to the mids, and I've played with those cabs sans mid drivers and it kicked butt although not as much mids as I like when the BP102's were run full range.

Still, for what you are after, a vertical 410 would kill.

This was my main rig for a long time...(note, the bottom speakers in the pic below were Peavey's that got replaced with two more BP102's)
