I've searched around and found a few manufactures, but I'd like to hear some REAL WORLD EXPERIENCES. How well did they fit? How are they holding-up? Did they take 6 months to arrive? How much did they cost?
I recently procured a '67 Sunn 200S Head/2x15 Cab. I'm looking for basic covers for both, something to protect against scuffs and scrapes. This rig will be carefully transported by me in my car so I'm not looking for anything padded/road worthy, etc. Just basic slip covers.
Some original Sunn logo'd vinyl covers would be outrageously cool, but I doubt many still live.
Thanks!

It's amazingly well built and fits like a glove... and it looks vintage because it's vinyl w/ nice stiching and piping etc. I have no doubt that the cover would last as long as my combo through regular use. I opted for the "padded" version which adds a little more bulk/weight to the cover, but that's also why it's so sturdy and durable. The sales and service from the company was very professional and they even sent me a 'dimensional drawing' of my cover before building it just to make sure we had everything right. Ordered and delivered within two weeks... for just over $100 CAD. What else can I say... all around great product. The only downside to this type of cover is heavier weight (vs. cordura type).. but that is far outweighed by is other great qualities IME...
pat.

Keep em' coming, thank you everybody!

I usually get the padded ones but I may try an unpadded one this time for the LDS cabinet I picked up this past Sunday while I was in Michigan for GilFestŪ.

I got them for all my Aguilar cabs, an Ampeg V4, a Vox AC30 , my TAB/Funkenwerk in a custom wooden case and my Radial DIs. Some of them are custom orders, all are very well made and the shop is providing very fast.
I am ordering all my covers (from EUROPE!!!) at d2f covers!

I custom ordered one from amplifiercovers for $49 seven days ago and just got my shipping info! They're definitely more thickly padded and heavier than they appear in the pics. I've had one for my combo for about 3 years now and it still looks great despite constantly being transported in the back of my uncovered pickup truck. |

I'll just add to the list the following place. I've ordered several covers from them already and been very happy with the results. www.studioslips.com |
