The Walkabout/ML-112 is working pretty well, but BigE Loudspeakers have got my gear curiosity going. In my book, there's almost always room for improvement...

BDDI> Ampeg B2RE > Hartke 4 10. That ampeg amp is mostly crap so I run into effects return and just use it as power--the BDDI is essentially my sound and I don't run that full blend by any means.
This set up sounds great with my GNL or lakland--no more gas! |

Seriously, I have a XTI2000 coming this week, and THAT is overkill for 99% of gigging bassists. The 4002 is insane power. 3200w @ 4ohms... Your guitarists must be pleased!

I suppose it would be more realistic to say "until I strike it rich I'm ok for the present" |

For 30 years a Mesa Boogie D180 with an 118 Boogie cab worked for me, now a PJB Roadcase works for me. Two totally different rigs, but I can get a sound that makes me happy from both. I also have an Orange TT500 and an OBC115 when I need more grunt and growl, and it also gets me the sound I need. After 60, weight and size did become a factor, but not sacrificing tone, volume, and such just for ease of transport. |

Right now I have a Mesa Walkabout and 400+. I also have an Aguilar Ag500. I tend to trade amps. I've the Walkabout a while. Stays at the church. Might buy the new Mesa tube head when it comes out next couple months |

I also have an early 70's SVT head and cab. I am happy with them but I like the sound of Eden a little better. I was going to buy an Eden 800WT and two 410 cabs last year but I decided not to after finding 3 used heads which were all out being repaired and four cabs which had blown speakers in them. All of these heads and cabs were at different retailers across the U.S. so it seemed to me that this was common problem with Eden and went back to Ampeg instead.

I just got two Mini12+Ls and I have a Tri-115 that I was thinking of trying to sell but I think I will just keep it. The only thing I think I would need eventually is a backup head and I am thinking of a used 6.2/9.2/9.0 as possible optionswith my 900. |

Barker B1 five string, Thunderfunk TFB-420 and a fearful 12/6. Plus, a Cinemag DI. Same rig for several years. I am considering upgrading the Thunderfunk to current specs, but at this point that's more of maintenance issue than a desire for tone change. I've been tempted a few times to change up something, but have come to my senses so far every time.
