Why Bryan Beller switched from SWR to GK

Sign in to disble this ad
Here a great review of GK 550 Fusion and 4x12 cabs. And why
Bryan Beller switched gear endorsements. If anyone is interested.

I've know Bryan for about 12 years, I used to go up the SWR factory alot before Fender bought them. I've had some SWR gear in the past and use their power amp now. But this review make want go out and check out a Fusion 550

Thanks for posting. My son is currently waiting for his Fusion 550 and s x 2x12's to arrive. This article is a good indication that he made the right choice for his latest rig. Your timing was right on the money.

That was an interesting read! I've met Brian a couple of times and he was always a dyed in the wool SWR guy, so the GK stuff must be pretty damn good...

Yeh Gouged, Bryan and used to go back and forth about GK tone. I'm surprised he changed.

Sometimes, it's just time for a change. Tastes evolve. I used to be a die-hard Modulus guy. Now I'm all wood and passive.

but NICE article, too...I totally geeked out over it. One of the most convincing pieces I've read on why I should buy a certain product. Unfortunately, it's pretty much whatever house backline is available at any given club for me. Oh well.

Great and informative read. BB is as awesome as they come and knows his gear so this is a pretty big switch.
But if I ever quit playing Mesa amps I'd be in the GK family so not terribly surprising...
I always forget about the Fusion amps. May check one out here soon.
