Why didnt Ampeg ever make a sealed 610?

Just out of curiosity, really, but why didn't they decide to make a 610e as well as a 610hlf like they do for their 410 cabs?

A lot of players (not including me) don't wanna lug around a fridge sized cab, and want the sealed Ampeg tone. I know there is always the option of a 410he and a 210he stacked, or a Berg 610, but what is the reasoning behind not making a sealed 610?

Cause it was never needed. Looks like ported 610 is good enough for them.
Their 410HE cabs were (and I think still are) just "half of 810E" - rather build to work with other cab: 410HE or 15E, their 410HLF is a stand alone cab (hence the ports) just like 610HE. Their 210HE and 15E are ported too - they are too small to get THE sound without ports. The 410HE for many players is not good for standalone cab, becasue it's sealed and the low end is not strong enough.

Now SVT810E is a real classic - they just DID this cab in sixties and saw it was good enough not to change anything. And it is big enough to deliver low end (even tho many players think the lows on 810E are not strong enough)
