You have to admit, it's impressive looking. According to my calculations, that's 1.5 8 X 10's for $900.

Agreed. There was an ad that showed 2 Beringer 8x10s, wonder if it was the same guy.

Anyway, how would you power six 2x10s, given that they are each 8 ohms?

I'd love to hear 6 Acme Low B2s stacked end on end.

Well it is bugera. You would need that many to compete with an average 410.

because he probably got them in some sort of factory close out and is now trying to sell them for a profit. i cant imagine buying that many cabs when you can get a louder and smaller 6 or 8x10 for cheaper (used). and this is coming from someone who used to own one of those ****** behringer 4x10's *shakes head in embarrassment*

I had a Behringer 4x10 for a while before my SWR 6x10. Of course the SWR blows it completely out of the water, but for $300 new it wasn't bad. I eventually sold it for $50.

Those aluminum cones are notorious for ripping away from the surround. It's as if the motor and cone design teams never talked with each other.

That's not hard to figure out - many people don't care for the IEM/DI only setup, and have greater volume needs than you...

they're great for people just getting into music who don't know about the used market. Or those who don't know about the internet and where to read product reviews. I think that is their business model/target market is it not?

I would really like for this thread not to become Behringer bashing. I had good luck with the cab I had, and we use a Behringer PA for practice and it's never let us down.

Well fortunately for you Burlington it's becoming a Bugera bashing thread instead. Oh happy day!
