Will a 410 fit in the trunk of my civic?

Sign in to disble this ad
Just curious if anyone has ever put a 410 I'm the trunk of their car. Going to pick one up tomorrow and with gas prices wouldnrather take the civic than the suv. I will measure it tomorrow but sometimes that can be deceiving. Anyone with experience putting thes type of cabs in a cars trunk and getting the lid to shut?

It'll fit on the back seat for sure. I've hailed an 810 in my 2007 Accord sedan across the back seat. My Bag End 410 will fit in my trunk.

My old Civic hatch (05 Si) could fit two 810's in that sucker without flinching, I swear. It once took my 810e, two 4x12's, four tube amp heads, two guitars, one bass, and miscellaneous drum bits to a show. The band van was almost empty that day.

Probably not but I used carry my 410 on the passenger seat of an Accord EX coupe, so I bet you could fit it there on your Civic too.

I can't fit my a 410 in my accord trunk. There's probably room in the trunk but the opening is too small to angle it in. I put it in the back seat no problem.

Doubt it unless it's not very deep.

It's a 2001 civic 2 dr. I think the 2dr is my problem that forces me into the trunk. I am afraid like someone else said earlier there is probably room in the trunk but can I angle it in there. I will have to measure it up in the morning.

It depends...I have a 2008 Civic. And it depends how deep the cab is. For example, I used to have an Eden 4x10 XLT that was too deep to fit. But my Avatar TB-153 which shares the same box as an Avatar 4x10 fits with room to spare. If you look up the dimentions of that cab it will give you an idea what will fit!

Probably the things that will kill you are the bent metal bars under the speakers that are designed to provide lift for the trunk. They ruin about 2" of clearance that you would otherwise have. With the 2 door, the passenger side has more clearance when trying to get things in the back seat.

I have a 04 Civic 4 door. I'm able to get my Hartke Hydrive 410 in the trunk no problem. Those cabs are pretty narrow front to back so it worked out well.

Two dr with rear seats will have a larger passenger door than normal so it should sail into the front seat. If you take the headrest out you can probably roll it to the rear with the seat back laid down.

I can fit my trace 15" bin, which is large sucker, on the front seat of a little nissan 4dr

Sweet. I am looking at an avatar 410. I will have to get it in there one way or another. Only $150!! Got to have it.

Measure it.

Really though, if angling it in is confusing, you could always tape together a cardboard box and inch or so bigger than the cab dimensions, don't forget to allow for wheels if any. If you can get that in there, you can get the cab in there without scraping the finish off.
