Just curious if anyone has ever put a 410 I'm the trunk of their car. Going to pick one up tomorrow and with gas prices wouldnrather take the civic than the suv. I will measure it tomorrow but sometimes that can be deceiving. Anyone with experience putting thes type of cabs in a cars trunk and getting the lid to shut?

My old Civic hatch (05 Si) could fit two 810's in that sucker without flinching, I swear. It once took my 810e, two 4x12's, four tube amp heads, two guitars, one bass, and miscellaneous drum bits to a show. The band van was almost empty that day. |

| | | | Probably not but I used carry my 410 on the passenger seat of an Accord EX coupe, so I bet you could fit it there on your Civic too.

I am afraid like someone else said earlier there is probably room in the trunk but can I angle it in there. I will have to measure it up in the morning.

And it depends how deep the cab is. For example, I used to have an Eden 4x10 XLT that was too deep to fit. But my Avatar TB-153 which shares the same box as an Avatar 4x10 fits with room to spare. If you look up the dimentions of that cab it will give you an idea what will fit! |

They ruin about 2" of clearance that you would otherwise have. With the 2 door, the passenger side has more clearance when trying to get things in the back seat. |

I can fit my trace 15" bin, which is large sucker, on the front seat of a little nissan 4dr

I am looking at an avatar 410. I will have to get it in there one way or another. Only $150!! Got to have it.

Really though, if angling it in is confusing, you could always tape together a cardboard box and inch or so bigger than the cab dimensions, don't forget to allow for wheels if any. If you can get that in there, you can get the cab in there without scraping the finish off. |
