i have a markbass 8x10, just wondering if the momark 500 watt head would be enough to power it or should i get the 800 watt version. also will i damage the speakers with the 500? |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Jul 2003 Location: NJ | | | depends what you do with those 500 watts... if you play a 5 string and crank the bass knob, you won't get very far. if you play a 4 and don't need a lot of rumble, you'll get a lot more volume with the same 500 watts.

500 watts if set up right should be able to level a building, push the middle a little and you should be able to cut through nicely without any problems.
