I advise looking at used gear. You can get a lot more bang for the buck.

Agreed 100% - I'd rather have quality used gear than cheap new gear...

Look around for a used:

G-K 700rb-II or 800rb
Genz-Benz GBE600 or NeoPak 3.5
Markbass LMII

One of those, and the best used cab available with the money left over would be preferrable - depending on your local used gear market, you should be able to find a decent cab by Ampeg, Mesa, SWR, Trace Elliot, Eden, etc... - or even a Peavey Tour series or 410TVX...

Then, you'd have a rig made up of pro gear that you'd be happy with for a long time... Hit up Craigslist for starters...

Yes ive considered that but i live in the ****** mexico so quality used gear is not very common here.
But the avatar cabs are ok right?
Then what bass head would you reccommend me? arround 300-400 dlls thats selled on a internet site like music123 and that ships to mexico...
not that easy to find one lol

Avatar cabs ARE good. I have gigged with mine for about 2.5 years now (NEO 410).

That part of the equation is solid...

What you think of the:
Line 6 LowDown HD750 750-watt Rack Mount Bass Head
Acoustic B600H 600 Watt Bass Head
Ashdown MAG 600H Bass Head
Ashdown Little Giant 350 Compact Bass Amp Head
Ibanez Promethean Bass Amplifier Head
Peavey Tour 700 Bass Head
Peavey Tour 450 Bass Amp Head
Warwick ProFet 3.2 300W Bass Amp Head

I thinks those would be my options..
and remmeber i would like to add maybe a Avatar 212 Neo cab later and it would be nice not having to change the head
and i know this sounds dumb but , would i need anything else(cause i dont understand what is poweramp , etc) with any of these?

Check out the new Carvin heads. They are good, loud, and cheap.

+1000..., I replaced my high-dollar Ed*n cabs with Avatars, haven't regretted it for a second!
Mr. V,
Not sure Avatar ships to Mexico, you might drop Dave at Avatar a e-mail and see.

Yes sir...it will.
Is it 750 watts at 4 ohms?
If so you will be able to run two, 8 ohm cabinets from it with ease.
One, 8 ohm, Avatar Neo 410 is rated at 1000 watts cap. If the head is 750 at 4 ohms that should give you something around 350 to 450 watts from the head at 8 ohms. You'll get the full 750 watts when in the furture you add your other 8 ohm cab.
I've never worked with a Line 6 product so I'm not familiar with them.
