Will this work: SVT-7Pro with Two SVT-410HE's?

Happy New Year!

I recently played through an Ampeg SVT-7Pro connected to an 8X10 cab, 810E I think, and was very impressed by the tone and presence. An 810 is too big for my car but I was thinking I could get two 410's and use them separately and together, when possible. Would this setup be roughly equivalent to using the 810E soundwise? From what I've read it seems like it but would like to be more certain before going this route.

Thanks in advance.

yeah the 410he is half of an 810e, so two of them would be pretty close to an 810. the only downside is that the 410s are 8 ohm so if you plan on using only one at smaller show, you would also only be getting half of the power from the head, but that head puts out 600 watts @ 8 ohms i believe, which is plenty loud for most situations.

ya, really! you'd never be able to get 600w into one of those 410he cabs anyway. two 410he's is an 810e in a two-cab format, so yeah, it'll sound like an 810e with both.

Should work out well for you! Don't expect an exact recreation of the 810e, but definitely a similar vibe. Roll off the tweeters and you will get a little closer the tone.
