Looking at running an LMII into my GK 410 cab. Would it be smarter to run it louder at 8ohms, or try to re-wire my GK cab for 4 ohm? |

I suppose my question is: In terms of class D amps, is there a heat/stress/danger difference between 4/8 ohms? Will I run just as hot at 300w as 500w? Or could running at 4 ohms be worse for the amp? I don't play stupid loud, I just want the amp to be in it's peak comfort zone to achieve maximum longevity. Cuz that's what it's really about. |
