I was wondering what if i had two low wattage amps around 250 watts each would there be a way to hook them togeather to function as one unit?

any help would be great.

Use two speakers. It's the only viable solution. Besides, doubling power alone only gets you at best an additional 3dB. Doubling the speaker count and power gets you 6dB.

The short answer... no.

However, if you have a DI box with two outputs, and two speaker cabinets, you could run both amps at the same time and get more volume, if that is what you're looking for. However, if you have two cabinets, and your amp can handle both of them (ohms-wise) then you may get enough volume just by running both from one amp.

But, no, there is no easy way to connect two amps together to function as one unit.

thanks it was just a thought but wasn't sure.
thanks for the di with two outs idea maybe when i have time to play with it i might try the diff. and see which i like.
