Would this be a good trade

Hey guys anyone know if this deal would be worth it. I've got a hartke 15 with a 2500 (250 watt) head and a guy wants to trade me a Ibanez P3110 Promethean 1x10 combo plus a some cash (50 -100 probably). I could use the cash as I'm broke as balls and he needs a half-stack for gigging.

Well, it sounds like broken balls are going to win out over every other factor.

In terms of the amp, I'd obviously MUCH rather have the Hartke.

I would rather have the Hartke as well. You have to ask yourself, if $50 to $100 is really going to make a difference in your life. If you really need the money you could do the deal and you would be able to keep playing. You could always buy something else when your financial situation improves.

And after the trade you'll have an extra $50 ($50 to $100 usually means $50) and he'll have a better amp. You won't be that much ahead cash wise. Replacing the Hartke is going to cost you a lot more down the road.

There's gotta be a better way.

Thats really the big issue with the little cash I could get from I could sustain my self at school for another month while I keep looking for a job. Does anyone have any idea if the Prometheans are any good?
