Could I damage my equipment by doing this?

Damage could absolutely happen. But it could also happen with a 350w head too.

When I'm playing a small venue, I play a 700 watt head into a 2x10 that's only rated to 250watts. Just don't push the cabinet to do something it can't.

Just because a head is capable of pushing 1350W doesn't mean it does so at all times.

You should be fine. Just be very careful with the master volume knob If it sounds like the cab is hurting then back off the volume a bit.

Only if it doesn't have a volume control, or you don't use it if it does.
