I could be getting a baritone guitar soon and was wondering will I need to get a new guitar amp or still be able to play it out of my CB-30 without messing it up.

The other possible issue is speaker excursion. Think about it: Bass notes are often accented a whole lot more than guitar notes so again, too light a speaker might have issues but not the other way around. All you would have is high end roll off in the former example and lack of nuance for the latter one.

Baritone Guitar=1 octave below guitar
Bass VI=2 octaves below guitar (tuned all 4ths of course)
Not the same range.

Not the same range. | Nope. A bass is only one octave below guitar, and the Bass VI is, too. A baritone guitar is tuned down a 4th or 5th below guitar, starting with a B or A for the bottom string.

this is why I prefer something along the lines of 2-12s with some wattage like a Twin Reverb or Marshall 4-12 for bari's as well as my cello. Those can handle the lows of the bari but still give you the clarity and articulation of a guitar amp.
The OP's amp sounds like it should do pretty well for smaller gigs and practice settings based on that range, but he will have to play it for himself to see if it works for him. Just my 0.02.......

The 6 string basses like the Bass VI also work better in guitar amps, unless of course you're looking for it to actually play bass on.

Many guitarists use these with normal guitar amps all the time and they sound great (for guitars that is...) you can play it through your bass amp but expect it to sound very clean and bright in the top end - acoustic guitars generally sound better through bass cabs than electrics IMO
