Ok, here's the deal for those who care. I called Mesa today. What this cab is, is a 6x10 diesel that was paired with the Buster head. It's 900 watts, has EV speakers and came in 4 & 8 ohms. Mesa told me that they mix impedances of speakers and, in combination with series/parallel wiring, get the cab to the desired impedance. He said they still do this today. The cab is 8 ohm. It sounds absolutely fabulous. But it is HEAVY! So I went ahead and bought it for $375. It's a good thing my band has a helper who loads this stuff in and out for us, he's gonna kill me. I imagine using this every night and in the summer, at outside shows, adding (2) 4x10 cabs. The total impedance will be 2.6 ohms(based on calculators I used) and the Carbine M6 has provisions for a 2 ohm load. I've officially gone overboard. Billie Jean will never sound better now.
