Would you consider this safe? (rackspace question)

Hi guys.

I have a DB750, and a Demeter vtb201s. I would like to use the Demeter pre into the aguilar, using the Aggie only as power.

Right now the aggie is in a 4 space rack, so there is one unit left.

Would it be safe to stick the Demeter on top of the aggie in the space thats remaining, or will they run too hot when there's no free rackspaces?

Thx :-)

They should be fine, rackmount gear vents from the front and/or back so it will be all good.

Actually the Demeter has vents in the top, and as far as i remember the aggie has too.

The rack by the way is an SKB.

Is there free space around the sides of the equipment still? Some racks are really tight around the gear, while other racks will have 1-2 inches of space on the sides.

So long as fresh-ish air is always available to drawn into the fan, you'll be good.

Hook everything up and rock for a while, just don't test it for the first time on a sunny 100 degree outdoor gig.
