Phil Jones Bass Buddy or the Avalon Ultra 5 to be used as a tone shaping DI.

I would prefer to retire
Just kidding...but between those two I'd probably go for the U5 because its tonal goals are a little bit closer to mine than the Bass Buddy. Still, I'd rather DI a B-15 or maybe one of those Jule Amps preamps.

Anybody have any experience with a Taurus T-Di Preamp plus Di-Box.
