This is not a For Trade post.

Would you "trade" the Traveler for the MB Fusion?

I've got 3 Eden amps, the Traveler (WT-300), Highwayman (WT-500), and World Tour 800. I use up to 3 1x12s.

I'm looking for a light rig for smaller gigs. I'm probably not going to get a new cab but I'd like to get a head that I can put in the bass bag to save a trip. I've never played through a Fusion but it looks like it might fit the bill. The Eden is about 15 lbs but it's still and extra piece I have to stack on the dolly, dangle from a shoulder, or make an extra trip for.

My reasoning:1) I already have 3 Edens and 2) I like the sound of my 1x12 (8 ohm) getting hit with a little more power than the Eden can provide.

Would you replace the Eden WT-300 with the Gallien Krueger MB-Fusion? Would I be regretting the swap? I don't want to sacrifice tone.

If you feel you can cop the Traveler tone with the Highwayman, then do it. More tools in the tool bag are always better, and the MB Fusion is definitely a different flavor than the WT300. Plus, it's not like the Highwayman weighs appreciably more than the Traveler.

How would you describe the difference in flavor? Thanks.
