WT800 One Channel 8ohm Cab manual

Sign in to disble this ad
Dear Talkbass.

I recently bought a wt800b and it sounds solid. I use it mainly with my XST and have like 1000 watts bridged! Sweetness!

But now i want to try it with my 300watt epifani ul2 112 cab.
(for rehearsals)

in the manual of the WT800 they say powerrating at 8ohm is 300w on each channel.

Now my question is.. How do i have to set this up...
1) Which side?
2) What about Balance control (power control) ?
3) What about R amp low out, L amp high out ?

thanks
Bert

1) either side, they are the same
2) at the middle, both side have max power available
turning to the R attenuated the power to the L
power to the R stays the same
3) these are for when you use the bi-amp mode
you shouldn't use this mode with the cabs you mentioned
4) read the manual at least once (more) plz

the eden is a nice match with the epi, I've used either side of the amp with balance in the middle on my 800A when using a single 12, using a pair of 12's will sound big and is easy on the back
