XLR Losses?

On my B-450 combo I have an XLR Monitor OUT - so does it attenuate any of the signal TO the Amp-Out either internally or on the OUT jacks to the side cabs and cause any signal deterioration that can be heard? Does it take anything off the top of the signal?
I know I can send XLR OUT either BEFORE or AFTER the pre-amp EQ settings as an option.
What I guess I am asking is does it cost anything in power, output or sound quality at the speaker(s) to use the XLR outputs?
My tuner-OUT is supposed to be a dedicated and loss-less insert, but is the XLR the same way?
