I am sure he didn't mean lifting situation. When you are pushing this cab on its casters, you must hunch forward, beacuse handles are so low when the cab is tilted. For longer distance ride (like over 20 m) it causes lower back pain. I know that feeling but I love this cab nonetheless.

If I didn't "backyard build" my own speakers, I'd most likely be playing a NeoX. They just work.

I can see the appeal of a 412. A lot of people say "midular...more trips with ligher/smaller stuff". I can appreciate making less trips, especially over distance. Then the more trips becomes more of a hassle than the bigger stuff.

Thankfully, a pair of good 12's does what I need done, so it's a non-issue, and would rather move a single 212 rather than a pair of 112's. There is some outdoor stuff once in a while I could use a 3rd 12., but for now, I just crank hell out of the 2 of them.

For those who don't build, I think a 4ohm 212 + an 8ohm 112 with either a 2 ohm stable, or 2 channel amp, could do just about anything.

Both of those are offered in the NeoX line, BTW.

I used one of those with my GBE 1200 for a looooong time... killer sound, and the cab is a tank. I wish I still had it, but it would be a "stay at the practice room" cab and my NEOX would be the show cab

There won't be a 3.2, but the discontinued 3.0 is still available at a few places at VERY discounted prices.

Of course I'm biased so I'm still going to say that you guys should at least run some test markets to see if such a cab would compliment your current product line. It seems to me that 12's are beginning to come back into favor with a lot of bassists, and I think you guys could design a killer 4x12 that could compete with Aguilar's and Gallien Krueger's current offerings. Of course, it might not be practical from an engineering standpoint, but who knows. I know I'd be the first person to buy such a cab if it were to ever be produced.

What places? Does GB intend to replace with another no-fan amp?
