Yorkville 200b or xm100

I have an oppourtunity of buying a used Yorkville 200b ($125) or Yorkville xm100 ($160) and I was wondering:

-which of the two would you prefer?
I'll just be using it as a practice solo amp mainly and maybe for use with jamming with friends.

I'm set on buying one of these amps and no other because I know Yorkville amps are great amps for the money and i'm located in Toronto so i'm hoping support and service for these amps will be good since they are based just outside of Toronto.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

not knowing the wattage or speaker configuration of either, it would be difficult to pick.

Yorkville from what I understand prides themselves on supporting even their legacy gear. They have a website and have manuals for each.


There is a Used 200b on guitarcenter.com I was thinking about nabbing ... i think it is 150w as the combo and 180w with an extension. They have many good reviews in a few spots on the net.

Both speakers are 1x15" & the 200b is 150watts & the xm100 is 100watts. The 200b is an older discontinued model & the xm100 is the current model.
