I just purchase a very cool Fender Pro 800 Head in very cool condition, from a guy who lives just a couple of blocks from me. I hated how I got it, he was getting rid of a lot of stuff. Mostly studio and recording equipment. The thing was his wife sap him with papers for a divorce. He's moving to Iowa. I got it for $250.00 I did good right. I'am not sure what year it is, don't know much about them but for the price you know. I haven't got to play it yet, my cab is at another place where we practice. I will this week end. He played on a Carvin 410 and the sound was awesome on it. I'am going to use it with my Schroeder 310212 it should sound good don't you think. This should be my last rig for a while. I'll also use my Fender P with it. The head said it was made in Calif.

You did good. That's a steal, and that amp sounds very good. I've read here that it is very close to a Thunderfunk, which is no slouch.

And where does he live exactly...? Lol
Seriously, divorce can be a devasting time in someones life. I feel for someone who has to part with cool stuff they enjoy because of it. On the other hand it's an honest deal with no malice on your part so play and enjoy. Better you than GC!!

I want pictures when you can, remember I'am your cousin I know where you live. Anyway I'am happy for you, I don't know anything about them. I know they list over a grand new. Wonder what years they were made, and why Fender quit making them. I've read they are a great amp. These guys can tell you a lot about them I bet. My wife said tell your wife give her a call. I also wonder how long you can run it at 2ohms.
