my old V4B - sold it to a buddy so I still get to jam through it a couple times a week. (the cab belonged to the studio I recorded in when these were taken, sounded great mic'd)

My tube amp collection is fairly modest in comparison to some of you guys, but I only just got into tubes last year.

My V4B (a 1974 I believe) sounds killer with any cab I've paired it with, but I'm still looking for that "something special" to go with it, you know?

The Valve Jr. was kind of a novelty, but actually makes a darn good practice amp. I tried it out in the shop with an Ampeg SVT210 and it sounds great... I've been meaning to pick up the MicroVR stack for a while, so that's probably what I'd pair the VJr. with in the end. You wouldn't rock any stadiums with that little guy, but it's enough to make some noise!

5sg.

I don't have this one anymore:

At one time it looked like this:

Still have these though:

Nowadays I have this...I think it counts, since because the preamp has 2 Sylvania 12AX7's and a JAN 12AU7.

Sounds better and more 'tubey' than the Mesa ever sounded.

Man, those tilt-back 2x10 Buster's were such a great idea! I haven't owned one, but did a tour with a dynamic singer/songwriter act that had one. It was the perfect amp for the gig! If I get a third Buster, it'll be the 2x10!

I just fell in love with sweet sound of tubes in January of this year! Can't believe what I've been missing!!!!!! Heres my V4BH and 810 and my 64 B15N that I was lucky enough to get from Jess Oliver in March.
