1st Roscoe

Hey all , I just got this a couple of weeks ago. I have to say that all the great things that I have read about on Roscoe basses are true. I cannot wait to get this thing in the studio!

Mine is a LG3005 with Bart PUs and a Demeter preamp

Thumbs up

Oh yeah! That looks like one of Blueberryhill's basses. That's one classic looking bass. I really like the solid ash body.
The Roscoe Demeter really opens up the sound of a Roscoe.

Welcome to the Roscoehead club!

Woody sure took the long way to Concord!

pbass, you're less than an hour away, and welcome to stop in anytime. Heck, I dated two different women in Concord back when I first moved here...been a while since I was there though!

Glad you dig Woody, I always liked him, he inspired my fretted bass (look up 5585).

Congratulations! What a gorgeous looking instrument. I'd love to hear this beast - any chance you can get us some sound clips when you hit the studio?

I've said this probably hundreds of times now, but no one is better than Roscoe at matching tops/bodies to fingerboards. I've been staring at this bass for a few minutes now, and I'm gonna' have to gawk some more after I click on 'post quick reply'.

Thanx again guys for the warm welcome to the world of Roscomania!

Heath, again I appreciate the smooth transaction, Woody will be well used here I promise and given a great home!

Gard I would love to see the shop. Lunch on me!

I will try and get some sound clips up asap. I had a big band jazz swing gig today and it perfomed flawlessly.

I have truly found my bass!!

Gard I looked up your 6 string. That is one sweet bass you had built.

Looking forward to the shop visit!

Heh, yeah, it IS a great bass, just giged it for the first time in a while last night, and it reminded me what a STRONG sounding bass it is.

Just let me know when you're gonna be showing up, we'll be happy to have you in!
